I love what they did with Braham's character arc. When he first came on screen; I wasn't thrilled. Thought he was just going to be the boring, stereotypical, brawny warrior type. And for a while, he was. But then he went through the whole grief and blind rage thing, forcing your character to question his/her own leadership skills, and eventually coming around to being your best bud and hilariously and endearingly drunk calling you to tell you you're his best friend. And then this. His reaction when you get hurt is one of the things that make you feel like your character is a real person.

I had the same thought. I understand it had to make sense if player is a charr or a norn, and they weren't about to make a separate cutscene for every species. Still kind of goofy, though.

"Kralk's down, let's go poke it with a stick!" followed by "Our enemy is standing here, outnumbered and outclassed, but still holding the most powerful bow in the world... I know! Let's yell at him!" I mean really, didn't he learn ANYTHING from watching Joko get bitch slapped into the afterlife while monologuing? It's embarrassing! (TBF though, I did enjoy the episode. Especially the fanservice instance at the end. Aurene is always a win.)

@@holl-we4ir I feel like Its just them trying to exhaust the "Talking him down" and "Reasoning" with him idea so that when they do go for the kill its because we have no choice. The commander should have no qualms about ending bangars life now. Especially after this moment. Hopefully it will be something they leave up to us, we either go in for the kill or try to take him alive. (And either way we fail to finish whatever that choice is, because of intervention which spares or frees him from our clutches.)

I think the pain was just so bad the Commander passed out, but was still very critically hurt. Let’s not forget that everybody HAVE healing skill in this game. XP That bow had powerfull destructive power in it and was probably still having some after affect as well.

I think it's left up to the player to decide where they got shot, but anywhere that has an important enough organ would have done the trick. Now, I've never been shot, but I do know that it's not getting shot that kills you, it's the shock of getting shot. What we saw through the commander's eyes was probably a symptom of that. I think the only thing you have to keep in mind is that the wound had to be in a place so that we could have survived for a while with minimal treatment. Not only did the group have to flee from the long-ass tunnel we traveled in without jostling the commander too much less they want to kill us faster, but Braham had to calm down enough to come back to his senses, and it had to take long enough for Aurene to notice the situation and take everyone back to her sanctuary. That could have taken anywhere between half an hour to over an hour.

When Bangar acctually shot me my reaction was: "WHAT THE F**KING F**K?!!!" And then my baby all grown up. I'm so proud. :) I only wish they did not give her that nose horn. Looks weird.

Me 2 months ago : This story of GW2 is too long, maybe start on GW 3 and new story should be good. Anet now: Let's continue this long story with new expansion. Me: I am out guyz, thanks for everything :D

The isn't much of a need for guild wars 3, and I doubt it will happen anytime soon given it was more than likely one of the canned projects. There is so much left of tyria to explore, so much left for us to see that making a new game seems pointless. Adjustments to the engine maybe, overhauls to it possibly if not a remastering of the game similar to BDO so that it can be at max potential sure.... But Id rather them just fix what we have and keep going. WoW has a long story too.... All good franchises and games do....

Gw2 has been going for 9 years,of course it has a long story. FFXIV story is pretty damn long too. Also, gw2 still looks pretty damn good today for a mmorpg. Also, there’s a beta for dx11 in the options. :D

what the hell are you talking about? gw2 is far far shorter then most mmorpgs when it comes to story because anet tends to rush the conclusion of an expansion
