A little tip about the candy corn node. It comes in two varieties. You can only have one of them in your home instance but if your friend has the king size node while you have the regular node, you can harvest from them both and get plenty more candy corn. Why do you want candy corn? 1000 candy corn = 1 cob. 3 cobs can be traded for a free 20-slot bag. I've gotten quite a few of those bags by being a diligent candy corn farmer.

Love this vid! Great job. Been playing since early 2013, but was on and off for about 6yrs. I'm full time player now, just getting back into it. I am not sure how you get a gathering node and put it down. Can anyone explain in layman's terms how to do that? In your home instance? For example, I have 3 gathering nodes side by side. I have to go through double doors to actually get to them. How do you actually put gathering nodes down? Tyvm...

You donht put them down. Once you "use the node" (it's a consumable) it appears in a predetermined spot in your Home instance

I believe only few of those living world gathering nodes pay off in reasonable time. So choose wisely. :))

I wouldn't be buying any of them expecting a payoff within a reasonable amount of time tbh. It's more of a completionist activity.

Awesome, I know what and how to get to my home instance and how useful it could be be. .... But I'm not sure where to start getting the different or even basic nodes or if there are any blacklion major quality of life items to snag. I know you pointed out achievements and seasonal events as well as living world things. Should this be a case of just playing the game and it should start to populate?

This depends on how hard you want to go with it and how much gold you have to start. My first steps would be the Bandit Chest in Silverwastes and the three Chests in HoT (verdant Brink, Auric Basin, Tangled Depths) as well as the Aurillium Node. These are higher vlaue ones with less of an upfront cost. Then I would look at that Living World ones, which are 50g each. As for the Black Lion stuff? thats totally a personal choice. Theres nothing in there I would consider a must have, though everyone I know doing the ascended cooking considers at least one gemstore gardening plot to be a must have.

I went to my home instance my first time this weekend after buying a few items from this festival and didnt want to "use" them incorrectly and lose them. Do we need to do anything first, or simply double click and GTG. This is from nothing.. I only went into the instance for a moment and realized my crap was in the bank anyway...

It's just doubleclick and you will get a noticed that it has been added to your Home Instance
