I really don't understand why is every youtuber praising this game, it is really nothing special. I believe that youtubers are trying to simp for this game so that community will like and comment on their video and as a result gain more exposure. I honestly don't believe that game is that good.

well.... don't expect to master a game that has been here for 11 years now in just a week. Just don't skip all the tutorials and expect to participate in endgame-content with your green gear, no skill and without guidance. The community is very helpful though, so if you give it another try and ask nicely, people will most likely give you advice on how to improve your playstyle and positively enhance your gaming experience ;-)

Subjectively i believe that WoW is better but this has to do with other things such as me playing it for many years, people i met there, memories while growing up, etc. As much as i can put on the side my biases and offer an as much objective opinion, gw2 is the best mmo out there.

Dipping your toe in 3 game modes will get you past 18 achievement points. You claimed that you've played all 3 modes yet most clips used here are from other GW2 youtube videos, not yours. The reality is that you played the starter zone and one PvP match then made a review video claiming it's a bad game. Otherwise you would've used your own clips. If you're gonna make a review about a game at least put some hours into it. "I don't get the praise" because you are a low effort youtuber who does "honest" game reviews as a shock value. Complaing about too many achievements in a game where they are fully optional and where the missing item spiral has to be replaced by something is stupid on another level. Yes, most of them are grindy and not particularly challenging, but thats the same for most content in any mmo ever. The only take I would agree with is leveling. It was kinda okay doing it on the first char, but everyone after that was annoying. Especially because you have to 100% the map once for every legendary you wanna forge.

It's sort of a mid mmo. I played it since it came out. Not for everyone. I tried to get friends and my bf into it and they just couldn't do it. I do think it's unique though. It's the perfect mmo for a collector and you have the CHOICE of delving into some more difficult content if you want to. I like it for a relaxing time just like how I enjoy taking it slow in classic wow. (Started playing that towards the end of the original tbc.) Do you like any mmos?

I guess its a fair valuation of the game. If you dont have memories from the past about that game, then it is not so special. Many mechanics borrowed by gw2 from other games and vice versa. Funny fact is that gw2 hold some outdated mechanics that were never popular, like underwater combat. Mechanic is still in the game but you get about no new content for it...

But this video shows absolutely NOTHING of the late game content, which is where the MMO's shine. I played it in 2018 and 2019 and it was great ,led a guild of 200 and it was intense ,there were strategies ,more tanky classes were placed at the entrances ,other separate groups were used to flank ,at least that's how I organised them ,there were many mechanics in the game ,rewards were good and most of the things you had to pay for were cosmetic or expansion packs ,at the time it bothered me but as an adult you can afford to buy at least one expansion . As for one guy leading ..that's true ,I played as a elementalist I think it was called ,I didn't even unlock the weaver and I was already making waves in PVP ,I was managing to block and kill at least a couple of people from the the enemy's group and still escape ,one of the hardest classes to play because it involved a lot of skill but it was such fun and an awesome distraction while my guild was tearing down their sh*t lol..unfortunately the community was toxic and because it was all about cosmetics you guessed it..the game was filled with degenerates pretending to be whatever they wanted and disgusting furry f*ckers ,many young and old pedos and attention wh0res and lots of trolls who did nothing but stun and run ,stun and run ,nothing made me leave to be honest ,that's how good the game was in my humble opinion ,I literally customized an old DELL server unit from 2008 and was able to play non-stop 24/7 ,because it was made to run continuously ,I eventually turned it off when my potato hard drives started giving up ,I broke the keyboard in half and sold it ,no regrets tho ..the community turned to sh*t anyway as I was heading out .

I could list all of the ways it's superior but everyone already knows them well. The game is very boring. There are thousands of nonsense to be done and it takes an incredible amount of time. It takes a long time to learn what the pieces in your inventory are and where they should be delivered. If you are a new player, it will take years to complete Achievments. The story is very boring, long, NPC conversations are ridiculous and cannot be interrupted. You don't need much skill to pvp, that's just the advantage.
