SWEET!!!!! When are you guys moving in? BTW, one thing worth doing if not done already is to coat the bottom of the sink with a rubber like coating line a bed liner for a truck. It will make the sink very quiet. Make sure it can take high temp. Yep, quiet sinks are a thing. I am very happy for you guys, all the best.

That sink really takes your kitchen to the next level! Well done sir! Now after seeing your Pressure Washer, a guy's going to have to either repair the damage to mine, or just break out the piggy bank and get a new one. I was impressed with your setup. That's all a guy really needs. It cleaned up the GMC nicely!

The copper sink is beautiful! I had a copper sink in my other house and I loved it. When we were about put the house for sale I wanted to remove it and was determined to do so, lol. At the end it stayed😔. Talking about bugs, summertime, ahhh, gnats up in your nose, buzzing in your ears, swarming on your face. How I don’t miss it. Lol

I'd second the suggestion of some sort of sound dampening material applied to the sink basins, unless they're a double wall construction.

One caution on the grading at the house, make sure the dirt is higher to deflect water away from the foundation or you will get Niagra falls in the basement. Rock doesn't divert water.

Another great video. That sink is stunning. I’m fond of copper- have an old set of Revere Ware solid copper that was released in the 70’s- complete with brass handles. It’s a little more work but the quality is worth the work for me. A copper sink is definitely something I’ll look into. The natural patina over time would be interesting. Thanks for sharing Jeremy. Your videos always teach me something and inspire. Best to Jamie. Only 10 more days til Spring!

Particular attention to details. Soon more green foliage like you mentioned, and to boon a newer areal photo. Excellent workmanship, God willing this house will last over 100 years. Any plans for stabilising the slopes?

Your sink is absolutely stunning! Just a question as it is so close to the wall, where are you going to put the taps (you call them faucets)? Also why do you put straw on top of your grass seed? I know it sounds a stupid question but bare with me I live i the U.K.! 😀
@banjobenson93482 жыл бұрын
So the wind and rain does not wash the seed around
@Guildbrookfarm2 жыл бұрын
There is plenty of room between the sink and the wall to put the faucet. Straw helps hold the seed in place. Stay tuned... 😉

I think it’s wise not to grow flowers or bushes along the house, as the home is already located in the wilderness. The grass choice: did you use a local wild grass species or the typical Kentucky lawn grass? I ask because if it’s not indigenous to that ecosystem it could become a food source for rabbits, deer, and all sorts of wildlife you might not want in your front yard.
@homegrownorganics59052 жыл бұрын
I just bought a farm with a copper sink and it looks pretty until you actually use it. What a hassle to clean! Buyer beware 😊
@Guildbrookfarm2 жыл бұрын
It's completely different than any other type of sink. It's a constantly evolving material and you don't clean it or treat it like you would porcelain or stainless steel.
