As a human to a dog, I can confirm the 'what breed is he?' conversation happens very regularly, during which I have to correct them that 'he' is a 'she' and then explain what breeds she is. To which everyone says 'ooooh, never heard of that'. And then I say she's deaf, and the other person invariably says something about how their dog never listens either, to which I have to explain that my dog is actually deaf! And if anyone is interested, she's a Llewellin Setter crossed with a Border Collie. Her 'designer breed' name would be a Borsetter.

My father in law ashes were scattered all over the walk up and around St Martha’s Church back in early November. There is a reasonable chance you now have a little bit of him on you. Do you feel better at maths? Or like you want to start an allotment? If you feel a sudden urge to start collecting wood I’m sorry but you might be possessed by my father in law. I too know the perils of peeing in privacy, only for a couple (always more than one person) of people to emerge from nowhere! Same again when farting and nobody's about. Next thing I know, someone appears who's about to step in to it! If I fart in the woods and there's no one else around to hear the sound... Will anyone else smell it? They bloody well will!! When I was 15/16, it was all about Limp Bizkit!!! Didn't discover Def Leppard for another ten years.
