I think picking Mephitic Vapous instead of the Izzet Guildgate was a mistake. It is much easier to get a Vapors than a gate that might be useful.

I think second picking Deadly Visit over Frenzy is marrying into dimir pretty early, even though it worked out. I also think you’re low on Douser of Lights, especially if you’re not taking it over the first Barrier of Bones in pack 1.

Burglar Rats over Hired Poisoner? I’ve found the poisoner can stop an aggressive start dead in their tracks. Boros Challenger into Wojek Bodyguard? Cool, swing into my 1/1 removal.

Great vid Ben, please keep them coming, In the last game you decided to hold back on capture sphere when opponent played the 4/2 sergeant with haste. IMO you should have captured it right away. Letting the 4 damage through seemed risky. Retrospectively would you played it like that again.

The 4/2 only attacked the turn it was played, at which point Ben was tapped out. There was no opportunity to take less damage from it (besides a chump block).

With all due respect sir, wouldn't it have been better to Dazzling Lights the Blade Instructor @ 57:00 ? Making it a 1/1 so the Healers Hawk wouldn't get mentored (mentor checks both on trigger and resolving). Then you wouldn't have lost your Dimir Spybug :-)

so I watched this in particular because I suck with dimir and till now just won multiple drafts with Boros. This video just confirms my bias towards RW... I mean the Legion Warboss did a great deal here, but the rest of the deck was pretty mediocore... and that dimir deck was stacked. But probably still better odds for Dimir if they played more games. But thank you for your thoughts on drafting, I´d def took the crab and douser higher so far.
