Guile in Marvel vs Capcom 2 is an All-American Hero! (Marvel vs Capcom Revisited #11)

Hey, everyone. This is a series I want to do called 'Marvel vs Capcom Revisited', where I go over a character or mode from any Marvel vs Capcom game and speak about why it's good, bad, mid, or anything in between!
These aren't scripted and I'm going off bullet points on my phone, so it's more laid back and casual than my regular, scripted videos.
This episode covers Guile in Marvel vs Capcom 2. Considered to be a mid tier, I wanted to cover Guile's moves and overall gameplan to see what makes him so much fun to play!

In the little Marvel 2 I've played, I've always picked Guile because of how reliable he is. I also use Captain America as well for extra MURICA points.

It's possible to combo into Guile's Crossfire Assault from Magic Series, it's just that the timing is a little tight. Launcher into Jump Jab, Short, Strong Forward into Crossfire Assault does work. You can also adjust Guile's trajectory on his super jump, like most characters so that when you're hitting your opponent he's not switching sides in your combo route. The combo works on various weight classes in the game--the main thing is that the timing. I tested this on Ryu, Hulk, Rogue, Wolverine and Doctor Doom for sake of variance with smaller to mid to larger characters. Great videos overall! Keep up the content!
