To me, the bass has always been the unsung hero in why this is one of the best SF songs there is. Most covers don't get the bass line right. This cover had the bass and so much more, so dope!

I want to see the covers you talkin about bc the ones i look are decent or very good...Don't forget it's Street Fighter 2's theme in which the bass is very very percussive bc a lot of slap and ghost notes. Here i feel more like the theme from Street Fighter 1 which has no slap in it. Certainly due to upright bass, sound is more round etc... Anyway they nailed it and its eargasm ^^
@biggusdickus85112 жыл бұрын
Correction: Actually i was talkin about the Super Street Fighter 2 theme from 93...It's a bit hard to find out because there are a lot of different versions according to which game it is and it can be different according to the platform too. Sorry if i sounded a bit wrong ^^

As a tenor saxophonist, I just wanna say I'm most impressed by the drummer. Dude sat in the pocket the whole time. Nothing flashy, no odd-timed fills--he just grooved the whole way. You can tell by his presence dude's a giving musician. Absolute rock and the rhythm section tightness in general is probably overshadowed by the horns. Shouldn't be, tho!
