Back to follow up now that I’ve watched your review… I gotta admit, I’m pleasantly surprised by what I see! The added on-device settings and the LED lights around the perimeter of the pad alone are more than enough, in my opinion anyways, to justify the price increase over similar looking Haute42 products. And after watching your video I’m pretty confident that other than sharing the same general form factor, this appears to be clearly superior to its look alike competition…. Thanks for the video, I am glad to have learned more about this device!

@@YaYa-ex8cu the rings on this pad is pretty much the same on all Kailh v2 pads with rings If flat buttons level with the rings You would want the Tikitaka S15 Kailh v2 switches or Varmilo FK2 Cherry induction switches It's even more flush and easiest to slide on but only 1 switch option at the moment the other Cherry MX induction switch colors have not released yet For wrist rest you would want the ASI LvL comes built in and then remove the switches and add low profile outemu switches so the switches won't be so tall That's all I can think of Hope that helps Thanks for watching subscribing and your comment

how's sliding with the gk16 like compared to like sanwa or crown buttons? Because when sliding on my haute s16, my fingers sometimes get stuck on the buttons

@@musacekic the rings definitely help but if you want to slide a lot the Tikitaka S15 has the best rings with slide ability but the texture is a little rough you'll want to replace the switches with v2 switches and ne key caps and you'll be all set or the Varmilo FK2 is even better with a virtual ring built into the case and lower profile buttons you can slide really easily in that pad But the GuileKeys GK 16 and Haute42 R16 / U16 and Duelpad Zen all feel the same as the switches and rings are the same height All good models and a lot of features for all 6 but sliding in particular the Varmilo FK2 Hope that helps Thanks for watching subscribing and your comment

Again, really nice video. Unrelated question, but how do frosted key caps feel? I’ve the option to get either glossy/smooth or frosted key caps. Not sure which one to get. And I’ve heard the Matte finish on the zen 16 can wear out. Does this happen to the gk16 too?

@OhDiluck Thanks much appreciated 🙏🏿 they key caps on this pad feel like the R16 key caps both feel nice For the durability of the top I think the matte finish tops feel the same I have a scratch on another matte finish pad and this would probably end up the same not sure yet but I would consider that with all matte finish tops but all good so far Thanks for watching subscribing and your comment

GK-21 is worth it more because fighting games feature and moves need to set on button. 2XKO and fatal fury: city of the wolves the amount buttons you needed in those games go crazy.
