The large M Plus and M Ultra models are basically the same size as the R and T. The M Plus and Ultra are bigger but not by much in use compared to the S or M lite The M Ultra has the LP - Low profile switches they sit about as high as the rings with no switch installed on your R. We played mostly on Nintendo Switch and this controller does not require an adapter on Switch it pairs up directly to the Switch which is nice a good Pro alternative On the PS5 it will require a Brooks Wingman FGC 2 adapter and does add more complexity to the experience after more testing I noticed if I walk away for 10 minutes to eat and come back sometimes reconnecting to the PS5 can be a headache trying to get everything to repair. I may not have said it right Using the passthrough port at the time of this recording You can use on PS5 the Mayflash Magic S Ultimate Brooks Wingman FGC 1 and all the booter devices shown LInks in the description On Xbox the Brooks XB3 I was able to mix and match adapters and booters using the hub and make it work on Xbox and PS5. Sometimes it wouldn't recognize on plug in. I would just unplug and plug back in and it would work no issues from my testing Xbox taking the usual roughly 10 seconds to recognize the adapter The PS5 Wingman FGC 2 from my testing only works at the end of the cord and not in the passthrough port at the time of this recording Hope that makes sense Thanks for watching subscribing and your comment

@@sardaomalandraj Its a pretty big difference from a leverless perspective. If you have a T M Plus or U you have wide keycaps and wide spacing all around. The U keycaps appear small but they sit inside a Ring. The ring is basically the size of the T M Plus keycaps so even though your touching a small key cap your spacing and play is that of a T or M Plus The S is tight spacing with smaller keycaps all around with 1 large on the bottom. The M Ultra is the same and plays like an S just layed on to a large frame like the T or M Plus for better lap play that so many have been asking for. As the T M Plus and U are too wide for some people. In use its a big difference If you have them side by side and played an hour on 1 and an hour on the other you will notice your fingers being closer together and more cramped or wider apart and to wide based on your hands and the comments I receive and my own use Hope that makes better sense

If you have a Kitsune The T M Plus & U I would image are made to feel more like a Kitsune Large key caps all across and wide spacing all across The M Ultra is made for those that want a tighter feel and tighter spacing and smaller key caps all across except the bottom button

Trini !! Going to brain dump on keyboard so here we go... lol The R16 started this design for most of us so I would imagine in 2025 their will be updates to the body / frame. The R16 Black is already showing updates to the frame but you cannot change the art work While Duelpad Zen and Guilekeys GK16 / 21 saw the flaws in the R16 thin frame and updated their design to be just as thin but more firm and sturdy using a firm wafer in the middle The R16 creaks more than the GuileKeys GK16 / 21 or Duelpad Zen but plays the same I added a piece of 2mm or 4 mm EVA foam on 1 of my R16's to test and it made a nice difference and if that matters to folks worried about creaking will help with that my nephew has had his R16 no updates since launch 6 months ago with no issues but something you will notice side by side in hand Spacing widest to tightest with rings U16 widest R16 next Guilekeys GK/GF 16 next Duelpad Zen tightest R16 has the left pinky that none of the others have if thats something your looking for GuileKeys and the Duelpad Zen have the built in menu button to change settings on the fly no one has and both have the updated lighting system with lights on the frame and lights on the button that the R16 doesnt have and are really nice features So which of the 3 is better R16 GuilKeys GK16 / 21 or Duelpad Zen None The R16 doesnt have as many features as it came out months before the GK and Zen But given they all have different layouts and spacing its a tough decision. If they all had the same layout and spacing then the Zen or GuilKeys would win just because they are updated versions of the R16 in features But the left pinky and spacing on the R16 is a pro to some or the menu settings on the fly, new light system,firmer build quality and tighter spacing on the GK and Zen are a pro to others that I get comments from Tough decision I know and A lot to read.. I'm sorry to hear about your hands I can imagine that was tough finding a good controller and having issues with your hands and having to send back You can RePinn the buttons in the web configurator and make custom layouts It comes default Left Down Right on the top right But you can remap those pins to whatever buttons you like I wish you sent this comment before you returned it You hold Start and connect to PC / Mac / Linux Go to Config > Pin Mapping You press the pin viewer button Then press the button you want to remap it will give you the pin number and you can set that button to whatever button or function you like then you save it and restart the controller to make custom layouts Hopefully you find another pad or controller or box that works better for your hands I can imagine the frustration Thanks for watching subscribing and your comment

I actually purchased this because of your previous GK-16 review and I appreciate the button map info, hopefully others come across this, that have has the same issue as I did. After many controller reviews, I ended up getting the basic XBOX series X/S controller, it was a gamer changer for me, I switched from the PS5 pad for fighting games. Probably the best D-pad I've used, it gives me a precise directional clicky feeling like a 8 gate arcade stick and the mechanical buttons are very clicky and responsive compared to the PS5 mushy D-pad and buttons style. Plus it fits my hands like a glove. I still made sure to get that warranty tho, all pads crumble sooner or later pretty fast unlike sticks and leverless.

Here's another pad that was recommended last summer I have it but forgot I had it lol I havent had time to review it just yet but the price is really good and it comes with extra parts in case a part breaks. The firmware on this pad is GP2040 which most of the newer pads have been using lately. GP2040 DOES work on Android GP2040 on iOS (iPhone / iPad) I'm not sure I haven't tested that yet Hope that helps Thanks for watching subscribing and your comment

R16 creeks more than the U but... R16 started this acrylic top ring attached to top design. As far as in my testing and what I've seen and as their 1st attempt in this design and coming to market 1st from my knowledge the creaking is a thing you will notice. But it plays fine and I prefer the R over the U because of the way I play and the materials each are made of. You can add a slice of adhesive EVA foam from Amazon $10 for a pack that will go away as it will support the base more keeping the thinner acrylic layers flat and together. The U is a plastic version of the R. No creaking wider button spacing, no left pinky but louder as made of plastic compared to acrylic wafers layered together. If your a masher when things get tough like me lol. You will feel the impact hitting the base more again because the plastic base is more firm than wafer layers. But in use the U feels sturdy and fine and like a controller if that makes sense and plays great. Both play great and have their own style. When it comes to other versions of the R. Now other vendors are making this same style they updated the creaking with firmer updated build. You would be looking at the Guilekeys GK-16 / GK-21 or the Duelpad Zen. Both feel very similar to the R16 with their own style and updated build quality. But remember these pads came out after the R16, same design style and similar layouts but they have a firm wafer in the middle that makes it not creak and feel more sturdy. I would not be surprised if the R16 v2 gets this internal wafer update in 2025 as the competition and things get more defined. My nephew liked the R16 when he saw it. I picked one up for him around June 2024. He is still using it in 2025 and has no issues. So long reply apologies typing on PC, I hope that makes sense and to answer your intial question :) R creaks more as it was the 1st to try this design. The U doesnt creak but is a different layout and if you mash will feel harder on impact when you hit it. Thanks for watching subscribing and your comment
