I’m actually kind of curious because in the movie Peter was killed but it didn’t have any effect on the ones he turned. Hoping the show will explain why it affected Guillermo

@@katelynnlytle3437 In the TV show it was shown that vampires can survive being burned to death and can be revived with blood. It is also shown that when a vampire fully dies all vampires they have created become human. As this did not happen with Petyr's flatmates, it is probable that he survived and - like the Baron - was mistakenly assumed dead.

I'm holding out hope that he chose to be human again because he knew that it was always supposed to be Nandor who turned him... Derek didn't have the ferocity to make a good vampire out of Gizmo.

I can understand this reaction, but I think this IS what they've been building up to. Guillermo has never been comfortable with the violent aspect of vampirism. One of the earliest episodes showed him panicking about inviting his virgin friend to the vampires' orgy. He was disturbed by meeting Jenna's roommate and realizing how Nadja turning Jenna had affected her. He was horrified the first few times he killed vampires. Nandor is right: Guillermo isn't cut out to be a vampire. Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing where he goes from here!
