What is the GCSE English literature term for a morality play/play with a moral theme? I want to include it in my essay but I can’t remember what the term was.

Morality play is a correct form. However, I'd encourage you to analyse it as a Shakespearian tragedy. And discuss Macbeths immoral actions within the context of his hamartia (error), which is overreaching ambition. You can also consider elements of propaganda since the play was written as a critique of treasonous plotters and Shakespeare altered the historical facts to appease King James.
