I mean, if you play against your friends you always can wait till song begins. In random matches? Well you can try to not attack and maybe if opponent is polite he will wait till beginning.

Basically the mantra you hear is about removing all the impurities you receive from your senses and achieving a state of spiritual purification, which is the theme of the song with cutting away vexations, letting go of revenge, and feeling out of place in the current world.

I know I'm 10 months late but I want to add that the intro is long because this track specifically is reactive, the main part of the song starts as soon as the second round starts rather than just playing the song through the whole match, and the bridge between the intro and first main part is short as it plays as the stage resets. Not the only reason it's my fav track but one of them fs

What's ironic is that damage is so high in this game, so it's very likely that the match will end before you get to the meat of the song, unfortunately. It's a great song, but the intro is way too long for this type of game.

that kinda has a cool meaning, you will never give your character enough time to resolve their issues in the literal way because you are always fighting with another guy who goes through the same shit, as as far as i remember in the game it skips a bit of the intro.

@@bleeemeven better is that like with most songs, the only way to get the full picture (in game) is by spending time in training mode. where you are LEARNING about them. Intentional or not? Its great.

@@yakatsusensei325 it has to be intentional imo. It doesn't make sense to make the most cryptic songs the longest plus too long for 3 full rounds otherwise

Too bad these fan-made videos with lyrics didn't fixed the mistakes, since some time after that the official soundtrack was released and there were official lyrics. It doesn't change all, but makes it less confusing.
