Honestly the Dizzy redesign goes so hard but lets put on our theorycrafter tinfoil hats and ask the question, why does Necro and Undine have the Jack-o/HC halos?

Nice to see someone with actual questions, not just complaining [character] didn't get in. I don't think the Halo's have ever been covered either in-game or in any of the books/audio CDs. My haphazard guess is it's something to do with Adam and Eve (Flame Of Corruption and Scales of Juno) AND being human. The Universal Will made Valentine, El and Ram and none of them have halos. Dizzy is half-gear, half-human and also has direct lineage back to Aria and Sol. Jack-O's halo cracked as she became more human, but she decided to keep it - we know she's not fully human anyhow. We know that The Original was human, so presumbly HC still kept some of that present. We don't know why he'd have traces of the Flame or Juno, but he did discover them after all. We also know Daisuke loves a good family tree sub-plot, so maybe he's somehow related?? My guess is Dizzy has finally embraced her human side, now she's not in hiding anymore nor being persecuted as a gear. This is affecting Undine and Necro. There's suggestions that halos are related to not-quite complete souls. So maybe now Dizzy is becoming more sure of who she is, more human and more in control, Undine and Necro may either eventually be no more, or perhaps they are become their own entities. Sol became some new version of a human, Jack-O too, so maybe it's Dizzy's turn? If I was going really far out: I could see somewhere in the story Dizzy maybe giving up all her power to save the world or something, which frees Undine and Necro to unleash their full power, maybe each of them merging with the Scales of Juno and the Flame Of Corruption as she is the only half-gear half-human that has the blood of both split evenly.

Dizzy doesn't have either of them right now though, she just has their blood in her (whatever that means exactly - we know Ky has "just a drop" of Juno in his blood now). Another crazy idea is Dizzy becomes human, and Undine and Necro are *actually* the last missing parts of Aria's soul. That's why they're so protective over their daughter, but internally conflicted, like Justice and Aria. Maybe Sol, Aria and Dizzy all become human again - the new version of humanity - where Aria is the final merge of Undine, Necro and Jack-O.

She finally accepted herself as her own person, and Sol loves her the way she is (he never called her "Aria", right?), so to actually transform her into Aria will ruin that. From what I understand about halos, Jack-O doesn't need to wear it after becoming human, but chooses to. Chaos has a similar one, but the reason for that is secret. What stands out to me the most is that Jack-O can choose to wear hers, like it's a piece of clothing. There has to be a purpose for these, a reason to wear them, and Dizzy's wings got their halos for that reason. My guess? As the queen, out of hiding and living among her people, Dizzy has to be the one in control, so these halos could've been put on her wings to keep them subdued. Remember how Necro uses Gamma Ray against Dizzy's will in her IK? Can't have that now.

@@maiselph7456 I think a new form of Aria could still be Jack-O, just a newer version (if that makes any sense!). Like it wouldn't erase Jack-O, but enhance the human side somehow. Aria the vessel, Jack-O the soul. Kinda reversing how Jack-O was originally a vessel for Aria's soul. Interesting idea that the halos are suppressors. I wonder why Jack-O would keep it? Like Sol's headband? Would Chaos without a halo turn into some other form of The Original I wonder? I agree Dizzy is definitely more in control now, be interesting to see if the halos are a side effect of that or a necessity!

I do not like Dizzy's new design. It just doesn't feel like its her at all. Venom looks dope AF, I kinda like the new character. And Lucy from edgerunners as a guest character.... Honestly don't know how to feel about that one.

I genuinely hope it isn't 'cause Zappa and Jam are the last characters I want to play here, so to have a new character and a Cyberpunk anime original character of all things take up the two spots makes me shake my head in disappointment. At least we got fan favorites Dizzy and Venom with badass redesigns.
