unrelated but I was wondering if you heard about how dizzy is coming to Guilty Gear Strive soon, do you think you'd be interested in playing her in that game too? Also, I was curious what keeps you playing Xrd instead of Strive? nothing wrong with sticking with what you love I'm just curious (or maybe you do play strive and I'm just wrong, I just found your channel ^^)

I don't play Strive myself (I wouldn't be able to afford any of the DLCs currently anyways). Mostly because Strive is such a different beast compared to the other GGs that I didn't really enjoy it as much as I do Xrd and +R (though I don't play +R very much). I just like the speed and way Xrd plays in general.

@@Xenomic To be honest I'm kind of new to fighting games (outside of smash lol) and don't know the differences between the GGs. But I respect that you prefer the way Xrd plays and that you stick with what you like most! I've never played a GG game, but Dizzy is making me really want to play Strive because her visual design really pulls me in. Sadly I only have a switch so I gotta wait until the game arrives for Switch, but I'm hyped that it will be soon. :D

@@imDelris I've been playing fighters since the SF2 era so I'm used to them for the most part. Just not a big combo person is the issue (ironically enough despite what I do in this game). I came to Xrd from Smash actually in search of something new when Ult was making me very upset with online and the game itself. ^^;; Well, if you want to try GG, I think Strive can be a decent starting point, but if you play Strive, don't expect to be able to jump into the others that easily since Strive does play differently from the others! I am curious as to how Dizzy will play in Strive though so will keep an eye out on that.

@@Xenomic Dang that's sick as fuck that you've been into fighters for that long! I dabbled in mashing buttons when I was a kid in mortal kombat but never actually tried to play them for real. Also I completely relate to not enjoying smash's state of online, it's frustrating for me too so I don't play it as much. I've kind of been unsure lately for which game to stick with the most because I want to play so many games but I also want to get good at them all xD I've also been playing BBCF lately bc it caught my eye first, and it's pretty fun even though I'm bad atm. But yeah when I try Strive I'll keep that in mind that it's different than other GGs. I'd really like to hear what you think about Dizzy when more gets revealed about her btw, especially since you've been a long time Dizzy player :)

@@imDelris I mostly play SF games (mostly SF2 or 3S), but also play some MvC2, CvS2, Darkstalkers, and of course Xrd. I have dabbled in a lot of other fighters on this channel too, such as the rest of the SF series and the (almost) entirety of the KOF and Fatal Fury series. Yeeeeah, the main issue for online for me is the fact that delay ruins it so much. I'm the type that needs to be able to respond immediately since that's my playstyle (very heavy on the shield parrying and punishing), so when I have that extra 6 frames of online delay + whatever extra lag that may be there, it just...makes it unfun. That and some characters are just....ugh. Luigi, Megaman, Steve...there's quite a few of them. I will be getting to the Blazblue series at some point or another on this channel. Been meaning to but never got around to it hue.
