Reminds me of the time that I bought my brother the "Fault in Our Stars" for his birthday and didn't know that one of the character's dying was the ending of the book so I casually brought it up as he was reading it. He won't let me forget it to this day. oops.

I am right with you guys, I can not get myself to read Game of Thrones when there is a perfectly good show, especially after seeing the ending 😂

I have many comments regarding these topics. I have enjoyed thousands of books, but have never spoiled the end for anyone, including myself. I have never borrowed a book from a friend or library and not returned it. I don't dog-ear pages as that's what bookmarks are for. I've used all kinds of things in place of a good bookmark. I have however said that I read a book that I haven't as I either didn't have time or totally hated the first chapter and gave up.
