What I’d love to see is a static shot of the tree as it’s coming down just showing from a distance how much is done and how much is left. Just plant a camera and take 5 second clips every so often to give a sense of progress to the viewer. Especially on a job from the bucket I’d like to see what sections of the tree you tackle first, etc. Just a thought from someone who’s been watching for a while now. Love your videos!

I think that would look great. For a tree this bulky I even think a still shot once every half-hour with the sun tracking around, would make up a great moving gallery….🖖

(So different in the U.K.) - for that incredible climb the whole neighbourhood would be out in a crowd together enjoying the spectacle and chatting and photographing everything. You would probably get a spot in the local newspaper too! Live long and prosper boys! 🖖

I can't get enough of your videos! Jake, you've been to Minnesota so may have heard of Matthew Cremona. He mills giant logs from around the country. I have really started to favor the cowhitch for rigging. I find it's more ergonomic, my hands don't ache as much. Experienced guys always say they don't care which knot I tie but i find the rope gets back to me faster with the cow hitch

I feel like an idiot asking about "treason," then suddenly realizing like what an idiot I am. Realizing your company logo, being Treeson and your still out there working and not in some supermax prison. I'm an idiot I will admit it. Well back to trellising these grape vines. You'll be alright over those lines. I've been doing this stuff for almost 50 years and yeah I still like to climb. You do good work. Lot more rigging material available now then there was when I started. Nice job guys.

Book of Job in the bible describes a creature whose tail is like a cedar tree. His name is Behemoth. Not a hippopotamus. And Job was told to behold him, which would be impossible if the creature did not exist or was not present. Well, today they call them dinosaurs.
