Nice. I was a faller back in the 1980s. I had 2 saws. One was a Stihl 075 with a 48" bar and the other was a Stihl an 090 with a 6 foot bar. I had to take the stinger handle off a few times when I was in 7 foot Sugar Pines. I had to take the handle off because there were times when I could not cut on both sides of the tree. Lots of granite outcroppings in the way. Other wise the 075 would be fine but bucking the 090 would come out. I had to pack 2 saws all day! I was much younger then. Timber is our only true renewable rescores. Everything should be made from wood not plastic.

fairly nice cutting. never had to climb the trees to clear them. BUT that tiny thing is nothing like the two person blade Dad had me hold on to at the work end. yep! the blade was so long with a handle at the far end of the blade so another person held it while the operator worked the engine. McCulloch with a blade over 6 foot . eight i think, i was at high school in the 60's. the tree was 6 foot or more across. Worked in the bush - not around people or buildings and i see you taking grand care - nice. thank you

Have you ever tried using a carbide chain for your stump saw? We used to use carbide chains to cut roots in when digging trenches. They were never very sharp to start with but also never got dull.
