Big shout out for Jacob and Randy of Guilty of Treeson for taking down my maple. I enjoyed watching them work, a really tough tree, even though it was frustrating for them at times. If you noticed the base busted into 3 sections when it hit the ground and is a good example of how dangerous these maples can be. Even though it appears Randy and Jacob have a great time in the course of their work, all their cuts are decided with safety in mind, and as a team, they are continually bouncing ideas and strategies off each other. It was a pleasure watching this tree come to fruition in a safe, efficient and effective way. Their bid was more than fair and the comedy was a free bonus. These guys rock!

Haven't watched yet, but am glad you made it through. I wanted you to climb down and resettle when you first got going on this beast and things went south. Sometimes your gut feeling is not enough, and "signs" that manifest themselves shouldn't be ignored. Getting rattled is part of the thrill, and persevering is a reward in itself. Thanks for documenting things and providing entertainment. Knowing the limits is a skill ultimately gained through experience.

When we had to lay down protection where I worked, the most important thing is to use a-frames whenever possible so you don't have to carry them. For your jobs, see if you can put big soft wheels on a cart.The cart rolls on top of the protection as you go. Limit the amount of lifting. You have a crane, use it. put lifting holes in the sheets. Stack them maybe 6 at a time and use the crane to move them. We had dozens or hundreds of sheets sometimes. Minimizing handling is essential. Mostly we had 1 person to move the cart and 2 people to load. We could do several dozen sheets in a half hour.

John word of advice, when everyone unloading excavator, always rotate your machine so your boom is Facebook ward, I've seem excavator flip over back work, especially mini Excavator. Remember mini are narrower the big Excavators, as you defend down your trailer you have or control over you machines. I had a friend was loading a Allis Chamber track loader that didn't have any Rippers on the machine, plus not roll protection, he flip it over backwards and it killed him. Loading and unloading equipment can be very dangerous. Good luck thanks for your videos.

Maybe not too late to ask ...again ... example I got ECHO 2511 TES .. so How to maintain this chainsaw ... for long period of time ... Do need to take off the bar & chain and just hang it in my garage or just empty the feul & oil just leave it in? ...
@nothanks905010 ай бұрын
Empty the tank and run it dry. That works and is in most owners manuals. If you're using the aspen or stihl moto mix then it's supposed to be fine to store. If you're going to leave it with regular fuel/oil mix then at least fill it all the way up. Avoid ethanol content if at all possible in all instances. Edit: Leave bar and chain on, no reason to remove, but maybe clean saw, dress/clean bar, sharpen chain etc so you know it's ready to go next time you pick it up. If using proper bar oil you can probably leave it in there a long time without issue, bio oil maybe not? Veg oil probably drain it.
@axesandthings48311 ай бұрын
I just made a HUGE order from Sappy Supplies and I like to consider this video as my little "thanks, Axes and things!" I'm hoping these speed cut nano bars and chains work really well for the 194 I'm putting them on, and my buddy is going to probably order 4 more for the 201s! The real satisfaction I get from this video is a horrible tree that I don't have to do. So the next time I'm working on some fairly easy dead ash tree I'm gonna be like, "ha! at least its not that maple!"
