As someone who watched this as a child and then watched it with her kids as an adult; Daphne is the most well-rounded character in the show. She is brave, inventive, and intelligent. You are just led to believe she's vapid because Freddy and Velma constantly talk down to her. I've seen episodes where she saves the day by using aesthetics to get out of a trap. I also have seen an episode where she finds the secret passageway and Freddie physically PUSHES HER OUT OF THE WAY to take ownership. #JUSTICEFORDAPHNE

“What’s New, Scooby Doo?” had no right to go as hard and be as good as it was and still is 😤 Also I think the a good portion of the Scooby Doo media I watched growing up was “What’s New, Scooby Doo?” and the live action movies, so this episode hits all the feelings of nostalgia for me!

I loved the early 2000's Scooby Doo movies. They were so iconic for the design, and it's what got Matthew Lillard to continue being the voice of Shaggy for the animated shows and movies. He is just so good at being Shaggy.

Scooby is giant because he is a Great Dane. They are that big in real life. Zach needs to meet a Great Dane, I fully believe he will lose his mind. I also need them to watch the first one! It is everything this one wasn’t, in all the best and worst ways.

The second live action movie was arguably better than the first one, no Scrappy helped a lot. Also I love that they brought up that when Shaggy gets a feminine figure he doesn't try to sneak a peak. They already made that joke in the first movie when Fred and Daphne switch bodies and his dialogue is literally "I can look at myself naked!" in a creepy tone.
