I asked Yvonne if she rather see you hitting the bottle, or drinking coffee. We thought your new hobby was drinking, but you’re too much of a connoisseur. I don’t drink, but only because I laugh too much already. “I’m going to have to go back and forth” caused a lot of laughter! This is for science!

I should have made these 2 videos in reverse order. Drink 2 beers on an empty stomach and then drink coffee to sober up. At least I didn't have to retake the video over and over. It was turn the camera on and start misspeaking.

That was the biggest difference between the 2 beers. The color and taste was very similar.

@@ima4ster I have tried it and eventually gave up because I could never get the bubble mouth feel to smooth out.

Head and head retention depends on many things, but a good way to get decent retention is a clean bottle and a clean glass. Last DIPA I made had a huge rocky head that just wouldn't die. It would have a foam cap as thick as my pinky 30+ minutes after pouring. It was nuts. Homebrewing is a fun hobby. Stouts are the best recipes to start with!

There is variation from beer to beer in my first batch. I poured one yesterday that was 80% head and 20% beer. I've found that a smaller glass pours better.

It’s all fun and games until you haul out a home brew beer! Lol! The next time I’m through your neck of the woods, I’m gonna hit you up for one. I still have your business card from the HPVA meeting at Kiawah a few years ago.

When you're camping in the area, let me know and we can make a teardrop camper/home brew video. Together, we might get 20K views! lol.....that's like Scott Williams saying that he and Michael Jordan combined for 70 points in one game!
