Guinness World Record - Most mini dominoes toppled (3.202)

OH YEAH! A real domino world record, finally accepted by Guinness!
The record was built already in September 2020 but just only tuesday was it accepted by Guinness after a long process of waiting.
I wanted to wait for the result before uploading the video to truly confirm the title. I am so happy with this! After about 20 years of experience a world record was definitely needed and deserved to be in the list and now finally it is!
I wanted to make a field of this record rather than a boring long line which was previously built (at the time Sinners Domino Entertainment held the record on 2.000). Because the first time this record was set was in Domino Day 2008 where a field of exactly 1.000 dominoes were built with a "45 degree toppling line" which is exactly the same what I did with my record.
A nice touch of where the record originated and much more challenging than a long line in which you could make safety gaps.
Surprisingly in January 2021 another Dutch builder broke the record from Sinners to 2.491 mini dominoes but thankfully I was already building a bigger field of 3.210 mini dominoes in total.
I aimed for a 3.000 field and by the design I came close to 3.200 so why not have a funny number like 3.210 :D Although 8 dominoes didn't fall down (see analysis at the end part of the video), I am very pleased with the result and absolutely satisfied with the record!
Q "But what about Flippycat? He has a much bigger mini dominoes project and therefor the record right?" Well, yes he used about 3 times the amount of mini dominoes than I did but he never applied the record to Guinness and therefor it won't be an official Guinness world record. Plus, Flippycat asked me personally if his project/attempt would interfere with mine and I assured him it wouldn't be a problem :)

You know me haha, always trying to make something original out of it and I had the neat idea of having the same design on both domino sizes. Plus a field of minidominoes ties back towards Domino Day 2008 where the record originated from. I mean, I cannot think of a better way to honour this record :D

I keep on coming back to this video because it is honestly one of the most impressive videos on all of KZbin! I have 10 dominoes this size and I can barely set just those up without knocking them down. I have no clue how you were able to set up this many without destroying the entire thing!! Also I love how you also setup a regular domino sized field; I bet it didn’t even take half the time to set up even though it was much bigger 😅

He didnt apply for the official Guinness world record. He also asked me if that would influence this one so his video remains an unofficial record, but he indeed made it bigger

I did, but mine came after Wdomino's, and we can still celebrate this attempt being made official by GWR after months of waiting. This is technically also an unofficial record for the the largest mini field (rectangle), compared to mine which is just an overall mini dominoes used in a setup record.
