Somewhat accurate tone description but: part of the brighter tinty-er sound from the Suhr is due to its stainless steel frets and more percussive vocal like 25.5” scale. The TA might have silver nickel frets which are warmer and certainly the “shorty” 24.75” inch reduces the percussiveness, less spank, and makes for a somewhat more Les Paul “type” sound.

Hey! Thank you for watching! That's a very good point, I definitely agree :)

If the Anderson is using Lollars I can see the tonal thickness/fullness over the Suhr.

The Anderson Guitarwork makes their own pickups. This guitar had TV1/TV3 set. From my experience, recent Suhrs are darker, with more compression / slower attack. Andersons on the other hand have a very, very pronounced midrange and are more responsive. But that's just my take :) Thank you for watching!

Although both are top brands, Tom Anderson is what I prefer. I owe 2 TA T - models, and I have never ever been let down. They just deliver what's asked.

Totally agree. More rocking, midrange focused but still with clarity and dynamics. Glad we agree;)
