Awesome and very smart amp choice. Playing this with a Klon is another great idea. I had this pedal for a while before I sold it, not because I didn’t like it, I actually loved it but I sold it to buy more pedals lol. Great demo! Love Bogner Amps especially the Ectasy, the Shiva and Goldfinger.

When you buy a power supply like the voodoo labs Pedal Power 2 they come with all sorts of adaptors and the battery clip is one of them. just attach it to the batter clip in the pedal and then use a little piece of old cable or whatever to create a gap for it to fit in there (watch the video again) and you're good to go!

It's still my favorite in the growing fuzz face line up. It just sizzles! Great tone, great articulation for a fuzz, and the most midrange of all the fuzz faces. Check it out. Cheers!

There are 2 instead of one or none. One is in the volume pot and the other one is in the Fuzz pot to make the pedal smoother or on the contrary, spluttery, etc. Yes, there are two, one in each control.

I bought this, it just delivers. Really good cutting tone, does Jimi to a tee. I think a lot of Fuzz afficianados know this is as good as most 'boutique' fuzzes out there.

Honestly they struck gold with this one. I even have two, one for home and one for the on-the-go pedalboard. Oddly they both sound a lot different. One is 'bright & raspy' and the other a bit duller, more wool. Swapped batteries and I did also run them from 9V DC but it still stays the same. Funny no?

@westcoastin6 It's the kind that comes with the Voodoo labs pedal power 2 or other similar power units. You just plug the 9v clip side to the pedal and the barrel plug side goes to the power unit....simple as that.

It depends on the amp, a GREAT pedal to run after any fuzz is a Klon. The mids of the Klon really bring the Fuzz pedals up in the mix and smooth them out overall IMO.

Seems I've been a bit unlucky. I bought two pedals, a fuzz face and an octavio. As I said above I don't seem to be getting much fuzz out of the fuzz face and to cap it off the octavio doesn't work at all. I get a by-pass ok from the octavio but when I hit the switch no sound at all. Tried diff batteries and switching the input/outputs and nothing. I will take them both to a local guitar shop to test them and get them replaced if necessary, Ho hum. :( Thanks for the reply.

Have you ever tried the Roger Mayer Stone Fuzz (spaceship enclosure) and if so, do they sound similar? I tend to think so judging by the only couple of videos that are on YT but I'd like to have your impression

Hi! I'll definitely do a clip with the Les Paul sometime soon but in the mean time I can tell you that the pedal sound AWESOME with a Les Paul! Hugely Fat!!! You really gotta work your volume control with the Les Paul but the results are spectacular!!

great demo. i was just wondering how this reacts with univibes. i just got a mjm sixties vibe and it sounds great my neo fuzz. but i am not experienced with silicon fuzzes. how has your experience been with it ,with a vibe. thanks and great demo!

No, that doesn't sound normal. Maybe a bad transistor. I use mine with the fuzz almost all the way up and then back off my guitar volume a hair. The tone is outstanding.

I just bought one of these and I am a bit disappointed. I only seem to get decent fuzz if the fuzz dial is almost or all the way to top and only if my guitar volume is turned all the way up. If I turn down the volume of the guitar slightly, the fuzz disappears. Is this normal? (Using Fender Strat and WEM Dominator Mk III amp)

fishy paw , it's normal in fuzz pedals .... they're meant to be controlled in your guitar volume, they're dynamic and if you put both knobs at the max. you can have the full of it !!! Like Hendrix, Page and the other fuzz "masters" used back in time .... have fun !!
