well im not an expert, but i can tell you that Pinnacle Deluxe is for the EVH "Brown Sound", and the Plextortion is for the Marshall Cranked Stack Sound. Hope that can help you :)

You should check out Wampler SLOstortion. It's boost is a clean boost

Good demos; I'd just like to point out that the Pinnacle deluxe is not a boost AND a distortion. The boost only works when the distortion is on :( I was hoping it would act as a regular boost but sadly, no. I imagine the TW is the same way, but I don't own it so I can't say for sure. Though I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be trading in my Pinnacle for the TW...

I can't get my Triple Wreck past 3. And I have the volume low. I think the quality control is here and there. I should be able to dime it if I want. Broken pinnacle footswitch right out of the box. Meh.

I've since owned a bunch of WAmpler pedals and no longer own any distortion boxes. There's so many amps out now that require nothing other than a cord and the guitar. Got sick of the pedal madness
