Great reaction to Gary Moore. The Messiah will come again, for sure, but we've got to meet him halfway.

Yes there was Jimi and Stevie and EVH and Carlos and Eric and Joe and David and a few others...but Gary Moore, often forgotten about in many people's top ten even, must surely be rated No.1...he ticks all the boxes, R.I.P Gary Moore. He left us his music, heaven in itself.

SRV is not even remotely approaching this level of mastery. Americans audiences need to learn that there's a world of great artists out there. Gary was in a league of his own.

So glad to see that you have discovered the best guitarist ever to walk this earth in my humble opinion! The other guitarists that you mentioned were or are great, but Gary just had that something very special. His playing touched your soul. Please react to Empty Rooms Live in Stockholm: I have included the link below: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmTHkqN6ial9sM0 The guitar solo in this just keeps building and building. Brilliant! Gary could sing as well. 😁 Looking forward to seeing yourreaction. Cheers from the UK.

This song is a cover; a reimagining if you will as a tribute to the man Roy Buchanon and his composition. I saw Roy when I was in the Air Force outside Austin Texas in '76 or '77. Here's a link to him performing the song live...kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpbIc4SQbaaeosU Stay safe...be well...

I am a new subscriber, but LOVED your reaction. I really enjoyed how you mentioned some of the greatest guitar players of all time that you’ve already listened to, and happy that you added Gary Moore to the list. I love that you could feel every bit of it, and were participating the way that all of us fans feel it. This is a beautiful cover (imagine that) of this song, and an AMAZING performance. I look forward to seeing more of your reactions. You understand this music.

hey man, discovered your channel very recently. Enjoyed your discovery of Pink Floyd and SRV. I can suggest you some bands and songs that would give you similar eargasms and insightful moments, which although were frontstage superstars in their time, are barely ever reacted to by KZbin's community (and I'm pretty sure it's not a copyrights issue). Reactions are cool and all, but it gets tiresome after a while, when everyone ends up reacting to the same track list, as if it's part of a standardized circuit :) If you're interested, just leave me a message/reply, as most comments posted usually go unnoticed. This should make your channel stick out from the norm, increase traffic, and ultimately even help other "reactors" to dare take a few steps out of their loops.

@@POPE. glad to see your response so swiftly dude. Since you're venturing into Rock these passed months, maybe you have heard of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young? It was a major reference in the late 60s and early 70s. Basically CSN were the main 3 in the band for a good time, and Neil Young was dipping in and out. He was a creative powerhouse on his own, in terms of song writing, singing and guitar playing. The others are guitarists and singers as well, so the characteristic of their music was deep felt harmonies and multi-guitar swirling solos :) I think this song in particular is one of their very best performances (personally I call it the peak moment of all of classic Rock's history), and it's also a gut-wrenching account of the American South during segregation. I've seen a few rare reactions of other of Young's songs, usually on lighter / more easy-going subjects, but I feel it's a pity that such a masterpiece of a recording is never considered: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gYWXp3eHmq5jpqM (edited the link as I found a better quality one and from a more official source). It's a live recording from 1970.
