Agreed, and honestly, I think people are too quick to shit on it. While it’s obviously not a direct replacement for a real guitar, I absolutely believe it helps with dexterity, getting a feel for how to hold a guitar and getting your hands moving, it absolutely translates to guitar. Obviously you’re not going to be able to pick up a guitar and play the same songs you just played on guitar hero, BUT.. i believe that it will absolutely make it easier to learn. edit; not to mention timing and rhythm practice..

I love this take, this is my story too....learned guitar due to GH3, thanks Dragonforce!!! I know has-beens like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin don't like their music being used in this fake setting but it's cool to explore new music through games, like it helps your "exposure" And if you've already made it, what's the issue? "Cheapening your brand" is sorta understandable since you're about to die and legacy matters(at least as far as Roger Waters/Jimmy Page are considered)

Hangar 18 is definitely harder to fc than Freebird. Freebird is more tedious but the solo patterns is easier to follow than Hangar 18.

So I decided to ask the FC guitar god himself what his experience was before I put myself through unecessary hell. guitarheroROXS the even more frustrating thing about the Harmonix engine is that you experience a glitch where you don’t hit the exact same HOPO consistently every time you restart the song. For instance, when I was grinding for an FC on Less Talk More Rokk, it consistently was not letting me hit the yellow HOPO. When you quit to the main menu or whatever, the glitch stops. Howbeit.... I don’t know whether or not that glitch is playing a factor of why I am still stuck on Round And Round on ‘80s(because sometimes I perfectly hit the super tight zigzag on Guitar Solo 1A and sometimes I don’t)
