Only now as an adult I’ve realised how important this game was to my evolving musical taste and interests as a child. I had just started playing guitar; I knew new acdc and the stones etc. i.e. things my parents listened to. Guitar hero 3 totally broadened my musical pallet and introduced me to Metallica, smashing pumpkins, the strokes, Pearl jam, weezer, RATM, Eric Johnson, dead kennedys and so much more. Such a legendary game.

i think it's so funny that the intro riff on hard is 10x harder than expert to me hahaha looks a lot more impressive too, with the mind melting mix of hammer-ons and strums... hitting those glow-y white notes is a real head turner, esp for people that kinda know the game but even for people that are decent haha

you can pick it up for ps3 or 2. or on Xbox 360, not sure about the other Xboxes. if you cant find a guitar the game is playable with a controller.

I already had a full bar of star power. Hitting the rest of that phrase wouldn't have gotten me any more. And, if you look at where the star power ends, there's very few notes after it. This is the best spot to activate to get the most points.

No, the notes are different on Expert. An easy way to tell is just by the intro. On Hard, it's all single notes, but on Expert, most of them are chords.
