Another GH3 song, this time it's the same cover version! If given the choice between the cover version with the solo or the master without the solo like we got in Smash Hits, I'm choosing the cover every time.

This is the song and game that introduced me to the series! I was at my friends house in 4th grade and she had this game on her DS and I watched her play Rock and Roll All Nite and I was hooked!

A choice between the cover with the solo or the original without it? I guess I would be able to FC the cover anywhere, but I just can’t hit the solo for some reason. Also, from what I’ve heard, I think this cover was adapted from a live recording of the song with the aforementioned solo.

Idk if its just me but this version seems harder to me than the GH3 version even though its only on 4 frets instead of 5. To me its just the way the solo is charted here.

Fantastic song, but kinda boring to play in Smash Hits. I’m so glad they just reused the GH3 version of the cover with the solo. Second of the six GH3 songs and the first of five cover songs in the game! Also, Rock And Roll All Nite is the most prolific song in Guitar Hero, appearing FIVE TIMES. GH3, here, Smash Hits, DLC for Warriors of Rock and a live version showed up in the GHTV mode of Guitar Hero Live. Rock Band 3 also got a live version as DLC but it’s not very good :(

Think this is about time I should cover the two EU exclusive songs in this tier. The first one is a GHWT classic "Monsoon" by Tokio Hotel, which confuses me since that's like one of the easiest songs in the game. The other is a more diverse track that probably fits better: "Ca Me Vexe" by Mademoiselle K.

I think so? there were a few groups that made the covers for GH3, Wavegroup was one of them. I believe Line 6 and Steve Ouimette did some as well.

It doesn't really make a difference imo. The biggest challenge with this game is the engine and the hardware. I'm playing on emulator, so I don't have to deal with that shitty guitar grip and awful strumming on the NDS touch screen, but the engine is still a problem at times.
