That’s an old Danny Gatton exercise from the hot licks series. Definitely a tough one to master.

I don’t like using tab, I read sheet music, once you get the hang of it it’s just as easy If I use tab, I’m not really learning where the notes are because it’s always showing me If you read sheet music, you learn where everything is. I’m sure there are tab readers who would disagree. Whatever works for you is fine, but the beauty of reading music is, I can take it to other instruments

yeah but there are different voicings for chords that sheet music doesn't convey
