Yeah, just give it a month. You will develop callous and then you won't feel the pain, not as much as you used feel initially. I have been playing for 5 weeks, now I can switch between chords faster

My chords sound awful unless I'm ultra slow. Changing from one to the other is really hard, however, I'm a week in practicing on day 3 and really enjoying it. I'm sure I'll get better with time and patience. Thank you for these lessons as they're great.

It is a great one off guide for mastering guitar scales without the hard work. Ive heard some super things about it and my buddy finally got astronomical success with it.

A quick tip for those struggling to keep up with the speed: you can adjust the speed of the video in the settings so it plays at half or three quarters the speed. It won’t affect the pitch, just the speed of the playback.

I began to learn guitar a while but gave up for about a year due to it being to difficult and not having motivation to practice. Less then a week ago I have started learning again using KZbin this time instead of expensive lessons and I'm already enjoying it so much more. Your lessons are easy to follow and even if the chord sounds bad I'm still proud of myself by the end, so thank you for these videos and for helping me learn this! Also to anyone else with finger pain, as long as you don't over do it to the point you get blisters it will get easier quite quickly after a couple days it barely hurts, or at the very least is bearable, don't give up! :)

@andycrowley This is really great sir! I've started and stopped playing many times so far but that's usually because I get frustrated and don't make any progress. Really like how progressive the episodes are and I finally feel like I'm improving! I've also tried downloading all kinds of apps but they usually charge or require a subscription for content like this.

Have already taken some lessons from other KZbin instructors but I didn't stick with it, became inactive and lost a few months. Andy's lessons are much better. Being pushed to complete a whole songs is much for fulfilling and I'm actually doing it. After this set of lessons I'll go on to the electric guitar lessons to see what damage I can do there. ha

I am having a horrible time with the A chord after 8 months of practising it because my fingers are too wide so the middle of the three doesn't ring out (and I get cramps).

Really great instructions, still have some beginner issues with placing my fingers so that they dont cover more than one string each (especially on the D cord), but im starting to get the hang of it!
