I’ve seen (and tried) literally dozens of YT vids for this one and non have cut the mustard. As usual you have nailed it and in a way that isn’t daunting but capture me the full sound of the track!! I did like Dave Navarro on strings for the Chili’s but I have to say I majorly excited that John is coming back. I’d love to see you do “I could have lied” Ryan!

My favorite Peppers song. Sounded great. Hope your new year is off to a good start. I've missed some stuff as of late. Not to ask a dumb question but how did the Kermit drive go? I assume you got one new one? I saw a baby Kermit muppet baby style at walmart around Christmas but I didnt know if that counted. Appreciate the content as always
@RyanLendt5 жыл бұрын
What's up Robert! there's no such thing as a dumb kermit question. any kermit counts. you could draw me a kermit, or knit me one, or find one on the street, or one for 99 cents at the dollar store. all kermits count. even a sticker. I'm happy to say I've received two kermits thus far! thank you for your concern about the kermit drive hehe :)

hello buddy .. thanks for your channel, you're great ... we're almost same old and grown up on same music .. funny .. anyhow, I was just curious how you play a My Friends and seems that everybody plays that different and it still sounds cool but for that 8/8 bridge sequence after solo I play x7x9 // x5x7 // x4x6 // x3x5 // 355 // x24400 // 133 // 133 ... with accent on pressure and with nice rhythmic up-down pattern in last eighth (actually in last 1/16 of whole) instead of down-down it sounds on acoustic guitar really the best ... I don't use drop D for this one of course as you understood .. keep rolling !! cheers from Prague
@RyanLendt5 жыл бұрын
I'm curious as to how everyone else plays it... these are the chords :P as for your bridge - awesome! you do you! or maybe I did me :) I wasn't too scientific about this as it would be inherently an improv section. or maybe I was. I dunno, it's too many songs to keep in my working memory :)
@sigsegv1115 жыл бұрын
@@RyanLendt > I dunno, it's too many songs to keep in my working memory :) haha, well, in my case hands are playing those songs without memory - at least without that part that can speak of tabs and chords. Sometimes happen that I want to write up something but I am unable to write that up without investigating with guitar what my hands are doing there .. Ofc I am not autistic so I have some overall idea but still for many songs I'd have a hard times to write up chords or tabs without trying on guitar

I’ve decided to watch less than my normal 4 minutes of news per week.... and just Play All on your channel and repeat until world peace is achieved. RCHP is an awesome addition to this playlist for eternity .... ✌️❤️🤘🎸 Question for you... when Dave sits down to play guitar ... do you think he puts his eyeliner on before or after he tunes the guitar? Ohhhh Dave... what a dude.
@RyanLendt5 жыл бұрын
thank you for approving of my banana choice. off topic but it's sunny AND snowing at the same time in this very moment (I just looked out the window) they called for a squall, which I convinced cortland was a large pelican so we were on the lookout on the horizon, but alas, nary a large beak to be spotted. That's my long winded way of saying that I bet he does one eye, then tunes his guitar, and then does the other eye. a little squall told me.
