GuitarJamz I do this a bit differently. I tune my Guitar to Open E & put a capo on the 3rd Fret to get Open G Tuning w/ an additional High String. It adds a bit more sparkle.

Have messed around with open g but besides this tuning,maybe in standard have you any tips or anything to play stones like cuz well,keiths the best in my book. Arch your wrist more to get on top of the string. Also, before barring, place that pull off finger on first, then barre it when practicing it. You can do it.

S'kay, but that's not how it was done. It was done with all ACOUSTIC guitars. I think only one was open G. The rest were standard tuning -no need for open tuning. Regualr tuning gave more meet on the sound.
