So.. you can buy one set of guitar strings.. and.. restring it three times. Cut six strings in half.. and you get twelve.. divide that by four and you get three... or.. you can by twelve strings.. and string it six times.. which would be even MORE economical. Okay Mark, as a Kiho'Alu man, I was ready to slam you. You got into it slowly, and really did justice to Summertime. Kudos. Remember, there are Soprano, Concert, Tenor, and Baritone Ukes out there. You've got some chops, let's say you discontinue 'Thumping Thursday' and come in with some Aloha Thursday, or switch Flat Top Friday with Aloha Friday and Flat Top Thursday..... Some suggestions anyway as ukuleles are the single largest selling stringed instrument for the last 10 years, outselling guitars 4 to 1. Aloha!

The Martin 5k ukulele sound and play really sweet but are they really worth the asking price. Prices on the majority are way too high. A true ukulele sound comes from the person playing it and not entirely from the instrument. The prices for the 5K are absolutely ridiculous.

Markus, the Hawaiians pronounce it: Ooo-Koo-Leh-Layh. So it’s not a Yook - it’s an Ook. And a few years ago I was partaking in some fine Kona gold on the Big Island🌴 and our host put on an Iz LP but it sounded like the beginning of “can’t you see” by Marshall Tucker. The flute part. But it wasn’t. The vocal never started. Of course by then I was so stoned I did not care. But I woke up confused anyway. So have a great Thanksgiving Markus and Jen.

Ukulele is only suitable for C major/A minor, G major/E minor and D major/B minor key. The rest of the keys have too high sounding chords for ukulele...

So I'm ten years old and want a guitar so bad. Christmas comes and I get a ukulele. Profound disappointment eats into my soul so deep but I give it a try.
