Mark’s knowledge was greater but Lemmo’s personality and appearance is just so much easier to take than the former host.

Lemmo is one of those players that no matter what he is playing, it sounds like music.. not just licks or scales... brilliant job, quite impressive...

I agree! His musicality impresses me. As a guitar player who ends up recycling lots of old licks and using scales for the typical guitar crap watching him play is truly inspiring

If I had to share one episode to convince someone to watch since Lemmo took over, it would be this one. I loved that Mark played songs we knew. It made you realize what the guitar did and who used it on which songs. Lemmo had been showing us what a guitar was capable of doing. Today, he did both. I hope to hear more classic songs with his own twist. That was fantastic. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a boner I need to get rid of.

Love it. Use the looper if you want, it gives it a depth, that opens the instrument up to really hear it. Your killing it! Keep up the good work. Make it yours!

I love the change-ups with the different amps. Man... BF Super Reverb's are my favorite Fender Amp. They freakin' ROCK.. That you'd crank it to 8 indoors, is just nuts! So me likey...Great playing and sweet guitar...

I like Joe, but please, don't have him host anymore. A 3 minute video where it's mostly talking just doesn't compare with what Lemmo is bringing to the table.

​@@seniorjuanvaldez I don't think it's hating, but he's not doing GOTD the way it should be done. If he doesn't want to play more than a couple of chords, why bother? He's a great guitarist, and obviously like to play vintage guitars, so I don't see why he wouldn't go with the regular formula.

Lemmo just has that quality which seems impossible to quantify where as soon as he starts playing I want to listen. Doesn't matter what it is. Can't teach it. Drop everything and just enjoy the dude's playing.

I had one like this that I sold to put toward a house deposit ... it had no serial number on the back of the headstock; never knew what that meant, exactly? ... but it was definitely vintage and sounded great ... kept a 347 I had instead, because that thing rocks HARD !!!!

Very much liked the different camera angle use in this video.If it's possible to reduce the Ditto in the mix to hear more of what Michael is doing, that would be awesome.

Love this axe. Sunshine was lets say important (45 in '68) . Funny how one can say he killed it ,,,,,i prefer my Dads version from the '60s here. Solo was lost.

Mine has the sunburst finish with stop tailpiece, 1967. Love it, added the stop tail Bigsby thing they came up with.

I had a Gibson "335" and an "SG Custom" that I used on my first 2 top-40 albums on "MGM Records". Then, I switched to Fender "Strats" & "Tellies" and I've NEVER looked back! 😊

Not sure Clapton ever played an ES with a trapeze - please correct me if I'm wrong. And Chuck played an ES-334 - again, correct me if I'm wrong. I never knew the 335 ever had a partial block! Really fun new info. Super awesome playing, as always.
