Hi Walliman, Thanks your comments! Indeed I was afraid of the overkill as you call it. Decided to go for the M-Audio Fast Track which could purchase at a very low price. Think the Alesis offers more input channels which would have been better if jamming with others. Always on option for later! Will be checking out the Dutch Graigslist! Thanks yr advice! Keep well. Regards Albert

I'm not sure what the solution would be to this issue, but a crashlog is a file that indicates what went wrong when something--a program or such--crashed (Failed to run or fails and stops running). These are usually located wherever the program is and is a simple text document you can open in a text editor (like notepad in windows). Most of the time you can discover the cause of the problem from them. Good luck solving the issue :). Contact Native Instruments if it continues.

After using it for many many years and being able to achieve good results, my opinion is this: for lead tones and clean ones GR is great. But for rhythm heavy distorted tones its pretty hard to make it sound convincing. Amplitube 3 is match better but what blows everything out of the water is Bias for iPad or Bias Desktop. What i really like about GR is the affects. I tend to use them a lot in bus tracks.

@saintofbladez I used a PodXT awhilke before switching to GR5. Limitations exist within both. With the Pod, you've got a unit that can go anywhere. With Guitar Rig, your rig is all PC based, so a laptop is required to move it around, and you have alot more control over customization features of the amplifier, but with the Pod, you have dedicated hardware processing, so you're not limited by your computers soundcard/capabilities. PM if you have any specific questions :)

@bullitt773 Make sure the ASIO driver is installed for your UX1. If it is, make sure you have selected to use the ASIO driver in Guitar Rig 5 or whatever DAW you are using.

@Vercingetorix The way the Eleven Rack and Axe FX differ might be useful to have all those extra sounds available. When I first got the Eleven Rack, I would use one Eleven Rack track in with my tube amp tracks when there was a part that blended in little too much. Personally, from what I've heard so far the Axe FX II is the best thing to happen to modeling without using some kind of outboard device. If the reamping is anything like 11R, you can reamp FX or entire mixes/prefer outboard w/11.

I have 2ms to input to output on windows. I wouldn't call that disoriatoin. However if you use a normal souncard apple's directaudio driver has better latency yeah, but without apple native stuff is the same, but when you know you can get better spec for the same price...

Hi man, nice job! I have a question for you. I'm a pro guitarist and I would like to combine two completely different styles of playing (django style gypsy jazz with a selmer type guitar and a "stimer" pickup and electric jazz-funk stuff) with the less possible gear. I was thinking to use guitar pro with a Tech 21 power engine for both (with different guitars off course). I'm not so sure for the gypsy stuff though... do you think I could get a '30 vintage sounding amp from this setup?
