Thank you for making the circle of fifths theory linear, which makes more sense to me. It is an amazing light bulb moment. The Roman numeral note assignment now makes sense as well. I'm a guy who never actually learned guitar but I know how to play some songs (I can play the last of us theme, the solos for Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd, Hurt by Johnny Cash, Through The Valley from the last of us, and Blackbird By The Beatles. And that's it. I know 7 chords by heart, A minor, D, C, Cmaj7, G, Em, E)). I recently wanted to try and actually learn the instrument because I want to try and write my own songs eventually, even if they're elementary. I didn't realize I needed this to write songs that actually sound pleasant. This video helped a lot.

In my second year of highschool I took AP Music Theory 1-2; I ended up scoring a 1 on the exam and barely passed the class only cause the 5 other people in my class were also failing horribly so the teacher tried to make it wasy for us. I wish I saw this video then because you just explained like half the course so easily and it's like i've reached enlightenment.
