Check out Billy Strings with Marcus King performing Summertime at Carter music...both using instruments and mics from the Carter inventory.

The communication between these 2 is fantastic. I've seen both of them live, though not together, and magic does occur. Besides the bluegrass, Billy has sat in with Tool and Primus, Chris has played with Snarky Puppy and Yo Yo Ma. Mad skills from these gentlemen.

I've seen Billy, but not Chris unfortunately. They are indeed unbelievable!

Something tells me you'd enjoy an album called The Goat Rodeo Sessions. "Here and Heaven" gets stuck in my head most often, but it's all good!

Yes!

The dance you talk about is very much a part of bluegrass and old time American music. There typically was one microphone and everyone stood back to record and would step forward for their solo time

Not really a guitar song, but you should check out 'In Maidjan' by Heilung live at the LIFA festival. It will blow your mind. Its ancient music ... brought back.

Check out Turmoil and Tinfoil by Billy Strings. Serious masterclass in live performance and creating unique music.

Best mando player in the world and probably the best flatpicker after Toni Rice’s passing (all my opinions obviously)

He's on the list. Sierra Hull is right there with him these days, too. Bluegrass is cooking at the moment.
