Haven't watched this for a long time, still get goosebumps listening. The observations on stagecraft were very interesting! I never really thought about the difficulties involved in maintaining the correct pitch after the extended pause for crowd cheering, whilst obviously remaining alert to reactions to gauge when to actually continue. Focusing through noise + mental distraction.

This is a song written by the group MUSE; they gave it to Adam and produced it on his first album. They also recorded it as a rock song. THE CRAZY, CRAZY thing is I asked an Opera teacher to comment on it after Adam's Nessun Dorma performance b/c SOAKED is the only song Adam has ever recorded in this overt manner. He said he would describe it as "baroque" or "light opera".

i believe Ryan Tedder gave him that song to produce for his first album "For Your Entertainment" which he is performing live here in Indianapolis. Adam Lambert's voice is superb with that fast vibrato in this song. The mid-song he stops only for the applause and then it goes on, don't stop it!!!

Thank you for your heartfelt reaction to this artist. Currently, Adam Lambert has released an LP entitled “Afters” which is ideal for dancing aka disco music. I studied to become an opera singer when I was younger, but I always recognize great voices. I’m afraid that outstanding male singers are rare these days. I have heard a few versions of Adam singing this song which is absolutely stunning. I’m waiting for him to return to his theatrical roots and entertain us listeners with this kind of vocal agility. I admire how he has taken care of his instrument over the years, and I hope he will sing Soaked again. The Glamberts and music lovers are patiently waiting while Adam gets his current style of expression out of his system and shows his faithful fans that he still is a remarkable singer. Cheers!❤❤❤

Soaked is an Adam original, but this live version is naturally different from the album recording.
