A few years ago, I had to switch trains at Preston and there was a layover so I went in the station bar for a pint. Stood at the bar and it seemed like _everyone_ was staring at me. WTF! I asked the bartender WTF and she said "you're standing next to Paulo Nutini"....I'd never heard of him.

Paolo is my favourite artist of all time. He's absolutely phenomenal. I love that he changes stuff around so much when he plays it live too. He's such a genius. Check out "Autumn" and "Coming up easy" 2 of my favourites.

I've seen Paolo live a couple of times, the first time was at my local uni and he was so hammered he could barely perform. It's such a shame, no doubt an incredible talent but couldn't stay straight. I read once he sobered up but if you ever get the chance to see him live then do it because he is phenomenal when on form
