I was privileged to see Justin Townes Earle in Dallas a few years ago. He was a brilliant American songwriter who gently whispered “it’s ok to feel pain” into your heart. I love this series. I've been going to Gruhn's since I was a teenager. I still go every time I'm up there visiting my mom. Thank you for sharing all of these guitars. They're stunning. And I remember hanging out with Justin in Galway. I liked him. He was quiet like me and gentle and kind. The only thing I could play for him was Delta stuff and some Lightnin Hopkins, which I always thought sounded a little dull compared to his thumping finger picking. I look forward to listening a bit more to what he did and what he explored. Thanks again for this series. I'll keep tuning in.
