Absolutely. You can do that if that’s the key that suits you. You can always capo a bit higher as well

Very confusing....your less on would be much better if you'd just taken the capo off and played in the key of G.

Hi Arron, thanks for the lesson in key of D. Question, why do most people play the 4 finger G or as they call it the blue grass G. I ask because it changes the B string to D and it doesn’t seem to make the chord sound any better except maybe fuller. Is it a contagious Fad do you think. It almost makes the chord sound dissonant. Honest reply please. Thanks again
