Out of curiosity (aka aaravakolaaru) i bought a Juarez acoustic guitar a year back and since then its lying idle. There are tons of guitar tutorials in YT but to me, nothing sounded like "fun" enough to play along. Came across your videos few days back and dhoosi thattified my guitar; Started practicing these exercises now on a daily basis. A BIG thanks and thumbs up to you bro!! You make look this easy and feel ease 👍 Btw, evlo naal indha exercises practice pannanum and how much time to spend on a daily basis? And gradual a speed increase pannalaama? I wanted to mature slowly but steadily, so oru approx time frame sonneenga na, it will be much helpful for beginners like me.

I think its very important lesson not only for the beginners but also for intermediates & above cuz it serves as a very good warm up before every play! Many of the guys without warming up fingers directly play chords which may cause Soarness in fingers or mistakes in holding the chords. Thus very useful exercises 👏👌

Hi I see you are placing pinky finger for support, but on the finger style video, you asked to avoid placing pinky. What's your recommendation when playing with pick? still need to avoid when doing chromatic exercises? Thanks
@ChristopherStanleysinger3 жыл бұрын
Since I was teaching my concentration was more on left hand. Using pinky is your choice. Like I said its a flexibility matter. If you don't use pink as rest you can move faster and freely. There are international artists who use pinky. What I taught is a method. You can either follow or do what best suits you.

Hi brother stanley, pls give me some advice here. Im absolute beginner and bought a guitar. Im left handed person, (just write) but when it comes to do anything like, heavy lifting, or like typing keyboard, I noticed that im more on right hand or right finger. The strings on guitar, i do some practice in left hand, i have not enough strength to press it. Especially the pinky finger. But my right finger stronger enough and more comfortable. Should I change the string for play right side?? Or it has to be on the left? Im so confused. And I’ve noticed that all chords in internet its for left. Hope you give some advice.
@ChristopherStanleysinger3 жыл бұрын
In general playing the guitar is a little tougher than what we see bro. It does need a little extra effort to press the strings. But I understand your pain of not able to decide and do what you want. I really wish I cold help you in this but I'm left with no answer for you. Surely if I come across someone or a any video I'll ping you. Do DM me on insta
