I have a different model of the Lekato that I sometimes use for going from my mixer to a powered speaker, works very well. Sometimes you may be set up inside but also need to get sound to an outside patio, etc.

Nice review! I've come across Lekato's products before. I own a few of their other accessories. Never this. I have been seeing them a lot on my suggested purchases recently. I do a lot of solo gigs too. I'm kind of a traditional in the sense that a cord into my guitar, and amp is just fine. But these seems like a nice alternative.

I just like the idea of not rolling over my guitar cable with my office chair. I don't play gigs but not having a cable seems like a nice idea.

I bought 2 of these to use for bass and guitar in my solo act. Using only one at a time they work great. When I run them at the same time, I keep losing signal. I can change channels and usually resolve it, but the fix is temporary. Sometimes when I lose signal the receiver light flashes as it should sometimes it doesn't. The receivers are only 2-3 ft away. Contacted Lekato and got nothing for help. I have ordered a WS-70 which is UHF, it should work better with the 80 as there is no opportunity for Interference. On the plus side, the WS-80 runs 8hrs + on a charge and recharges in a couple hours or less.

Great review, not telling us to buy it, just showing us what it's like and I just ordered a pair :) I'm at the other end of the spectrum, the learner. I have a Yamaha SLG200NW classical silent guitar and a cute little Fender amp and it seems it takes very little to stop me picking it up and playing it while watching Netflix. I think without the damned cable I'd definitely do so all the time, it really is a massive pain in the butt. My acoustic gets played way more because 'no strings attached' but God I love that Yamaha, I'm really looking forward to having the same freedom with it. Thank you!!!

I have a Lekato WS-70, which works on a different system and looks slimmer and sleeker. Sound and latency is fine, but I have noticed a slight loss in level compared to a cable, which means a slight adjustment to drive pedal or amp. But my main problem is that is it seems to have a noise gate in it which fades away the tail of the note. With the guitar full up and playing constantly it's fine, but turning down the guitar or playing softly is a problem. Lekato suggested I try the WS-80...

I had the Line 6 relay which was over $100. and the battery life was terrible. It was inconvenient. Line 6 said it was a fire hazard and needed to be updated to avoid casualty, and when I updated it I realized the battery wouldn't even take a charge anymore. This seems to be exactly the same as the Joyo system just with a different name so this should be better than the Line 6. You're still alive right? It hasn't burned your house down? Lol.
