That's a great choice of hardware and software, but even the best is difficult to navigate until you've used it for a while. 🤔

I have the Arturia Keystep and use the pads of my Alesis HR16 drum machine, but if I didn't have these I think as a desktop device this would be ideal, the only thing that puts me off is the lack of DIN typr MIDI sockets, you can get converters of course but I like the original sockets. Not bad for 90 quid!

Yes I agree with you on the MIDI interface, more wires and adapters is a pain. It sounds like you've got your setup the way you like it too 😊😀
