Guitar lessons for beginners on how to play fingerstyle guitar lessons 2, this is our first tune in the finger picking genre and a duet. Over the next few weeks these guitar lessons will be part of a complete guitar course in fingerpicking guitar.

This is our first easy guitar tune whilst learning to fingerpick. The tune is Gingerbread by Sad Fantasy and can be played by a single guitar or as a guitar duet. However, because most people at this stage wont have someone to play along with or will be too shy to share there new found guitar playing skill, I have also provided a recorded backing consisting of a metronome beat and the second guitar part at various speeds. By the end of this tutorial and with a little practice you will sound like an experienced guitarist.
Fingerpicking style guitar is used in virtually all styles of music and therefore is really useful to learn. Whilst finger picking guitar is most associated with acoustic guitar you don't need to learn finger picking guitar on an acoustic guitar as it can sound just as good on an electric guitar. Finger style guitar is used in classical guitar, folk, bluegrass, rock, blues, jazz and virtually any style of guitar you can mention.
This is a series of carefully designed progressive lessons that will carry you through from an absolute beginner on the guitar to a good level of proficiency in fingerstyle guitar. The GCH Guitar Academy guitar lessons are published to KZbin on a weekly basis just as if you were having private lessons but with the advantage of having the guitar lessons exactly when and where you want them. This gives you time to practice the lessons on your guitar between lessons so that you get the most from each guitar tutorial and achieve your goals as a guitar player.
You will need some basic knowledge of guitar chords to do this course and basic knowledge of how to read guitar tablature so therefore I recommend you view the following 2 videos before starting on this guitar course.

I know what you mean @Adil Ansary. This guy takes the time and don't speed it up to making more content in a short time. So you see, Do not rush but take that little moment for your self. And if you succeded this episode, don't stop but repeat as much as you can. Only that is the way to make it your second nature, if you know what I mean. I play for about 6 month now and the major mistake I made was trying to learn as much as a can in a short time. That was a wrong bet. after 5 month I had to reset my whole system and doing it the right way. Take one song. Split it in pieces and learn each part individually. Like the song Hallelujah. Personaly I found it one of the most beautifull songs for guitar. Now about one month later it started to play in my head. It's hard for me because a had a major stroke 2014. I had to learn everything over and over again. Also my fingers, my arm on right side of my body was damaged. But with repeating the same movements , It came al back, except my memory. If I learn a song now, the next morning I have to see in the notes I made, what and how to play it. I do not give up. To quit is not an option for me. I hope to see more of your progress and perhaps we can help each other. A big shoud out to @GCH GUITAR ACADENY. Very happy I found this. Taking up guitar again after quite a number of years away from it and find most Fingerstyle instructional material too advanced despite its beginners claim. Very thoughtfully organized and explained in patient detail. The diagrams are very helpful. Thank you. I am now a subscriber. Have bookmarked lessons 1&2. Hopefully there is more. Any tips on learning to change chords quickly?. Patience and daily slow practice yes, but have found this difficult for so long. Thanks for recording the different parts to play along with. Have often done this with my small home recorder playing Djembe and should do so with the guitar as well. But glad you have done so.
