are we in wonderland? I'm guessing he's well rested considering they were shooting a music video and during broad daylight. Who knows, he can have a metronome in his ear that is laying against the couch. ~~~~ The camera is not some magical portal to something that happened. This was all staged.

I feel you about New Orleans. I live in NYC and my partner gets so angry whenever I say New Orleans is the best city in the US. That city is so magical, romantic, haunted, and musical. I'd move there if I wasn't convinced I'd eat and drink myself to death if I lived there.

This recording and Sierra Ferrel doing In Dreams(sp?) in NOLA are two of my ALL. TIME. favorite recorded music moments ever. And this is why I have subscribed to your channel as long as I have. Honest, authentic and vulnerable. Every time! Thank you for being one of the few real KZbin channels left in a world of bullshit. Stay rad and stay raw, brother

Stumbled upon your channel about a month ago, and just love it. Your passion for discovering music shines through you, and the whole community. So glad to be a part of this. If I could make suggestion, for you and anyone else that happens to read this. Please check out Sierra Ferrell. Oh man! So much to like, some great bluegrass, with some interesting Eastern European chord progressions thrown in to the mix.

I've been down this rabbit hole and then I discovered Leyla McCalla singing Haitian folk songs....some deep soulful stuff..not sure if they're sisters but Leyla plays cello ..Sabine plays a Les Paul and the blonde lady is a singer...the brunette plays upright bass...I think the guy snapping his fingers is the drummer and also I believe plays banjo

Check out Band of Heathens - Hurricane. Another New Orleans song I think you'll dig.
@WILDBILLSOUTDOORS2 жыл бұрын
Hurricane was actually written by Levon Helm. His original has a little more of a "country" vibe and it's a heck of a song, but I love the way Band of Heathens took it and "rocked" it up. Any time I try to cover it, I try to do their version, minus the fancy lead playing lol! I'm not a good lead player, but maybe one day!
