-200 on the 3rd act, -400 on the post-solo 2 activation. Would've tied 1st with both of those. other than that, pretty easy.
sike. This took me for-fucking-ever to get.
A bit of back story: I had originally started dabbling with the hard FCs in this game around July of 2018. At the time, I still needed to FC Fury, Black Widow, and this song for the FGFC, and I decided this one was likely gonna be the easiest. Jesus fucking christ, I spent multiple days grinding this song for like 6+ hours just to get my first FC. Only problem with that is I fucked up the SP path, and I didn't understand the slow ticks vs fast ticks dynamic, so my score was really bad- only 807,234. I was glad I finally got the FC after literally 15+ hours of grinding this song, but I knew I could do better with the score. I kept on grinding the next day, and I was able to reFC in a relatively short amount of time and got 809,558, which is pretty good. I was satisfied for the time-being, but once I actually started playing through the rest of the game and getting tons of 1st places, I knew I had to revisit this song and improve my score, especially because of my newfound knowledge of slow and fast ticks in this game.
So this is my 3rd FC of this song, and I'm gonna call it quits here. Jprez has an amazing score on this song, exactly 600 more points than me. I know exactly where all those points are, and I've hit them many times before, but grinding one of the hardest songs in the series for points get's tedious and frustrating really quick. Miss any squeeze- restart. Miss any note- restart. Didn't get good reverse ticks- restart. I don't wanna deal with any of that right now.
Very pleased with this score and FC. Less than a year ago I was sitting at 90/93 FCs, and I wasn't even sure if I could get to 91, but here I am getting this FC 3 times. BTW, I have like 40 GBs of choke runs I could make into a compilation if you guys wanna see that. Let me know in the comments

Right? I think all they did was move Peace up where Fucking usually goes, the pause after “artificial peace” and before “line up in a death row” sounds just slightly longer in this than the album version. It works A LOT better than just bleeping out fucking with an awkward pause then another pause

Honestly, considering how much Activision had over-saturated the series in 2008 and 2009, that output would’ve been just fine with me. Wherever that would’ve caused sales to be a little more stable is uncertain, but I do have to agree that Guitar Hero didn’t deserve to milked that badly.

For my money, I think the sales probably would’ve been the same as Metallica. I think once Van Halen hit, that’s when people realized the games were being milked like fuck. Had they not been, the series could’ve ended at a good peak without people feeling like they HAD to buy more and more plastic guitars and copies of the same game over and over. GH wasn’t FIFA or COD and i think as a party game, I think 5 was the peak of the series (review and acclaim wise). DLC support and maybe a feature like GH LIVE is all the series really needed but now it’s a dead series only living in our memories, closets, and videos like these.

@@JackHolleworth the worst part is that ghwor would be the perfect upgrade to gh3 except however you percieve the engine, because it would introduce a really good setlist combined with graphical appeal as well as the addition of how fun the quests are along with domination and full band play, only difference is there would hardly be any dlc to download from previous games and it would need to be all new but it is perfect in the sense of being a final game because they could add all the dlc they want and do a reboot within 5-10 years without losing the integrity of the game... in a better world
