This song hit my youtube music algorithm randomly one day, first part had my attention then the rift dropped and then it had my full blown curiosity

Me and my friends have a saying: "In this house we love S.S.H." But yeah this song KICKS ASS! Both the original, and the S.S.H. remix, it just feels so good to listen to! The intro especially is perfect: the fast runs pull you in, then the chunky melody riff gets you headbanging before you've even processed what you're listening to! Your playing along and adding your own riffs made it even better. Note: S.S.H. isn't just a fan remixer, he later got to do official work including arrangements for some Final Fantasy rereleases and original compositions for some fighting games like Koihime Enbu RyoRaiRai! I have one such original S.S.H. composition on the list still, if like me you've never heard of it (it's the character select screen of a JP-only PSP fighting game) it should be a treat and I'm looking forward to the reaction.

Man I fucking love Thunderforce. When I played this on my Mega Drive in the 90's it blew my fucking mind, and it still does.

I still own 2, 3 and 4 with my megadrive. Thunderforce IV is still one of my all time favourite games. Can you imagine how excited I got when I heard they were doing a Thunderforce movie, and how disappointed I was when I saw what that movie actually was?

If you want to hear more rad shit from Saitama Saisyu Heiki, he also composed the soundtrack to Koihime Enbu which absolutely shreds; Gakushin's is a personal favorite.

If I recall SSH made Fire Field's Theme for F-Zero GX. I think it's called, "Feel Our Pain", or something like that. XD SSH has made great remixes for over 20 years, and he still does to this day! Rock on SSH! ^_^

I do love my S.S.H. This, “Venus Fire” from _Thunder Force III,_ and “Fighting of the Spirit” from _Tales of Phantasia_ (the original, not the remake) are my favorite remixes.

I you haven't heard the OST to another MegaDrive shooter called "Arrow Flash" you should give it a try. The Thunderforce music is hard to beat, but Arrow Flash is still worth a listen.
