Guitarist Reeves Gabrels on Being Recruited by David Bowie

This guy has been my favorite player since the first Tin Machine album. His playing was revolutionary in the midst of that late-80’s butt-rock.

The funny thing is, that probably happens to David all the time "Yeah, sure you're fucking David Bowie" ... which is probably why he handled it so well. Reeves is awesome ... very raw yet sophisticated, you can see why David liked him.

And of course, Reeves became the musical director for Tin Machine.
